This fund supports local community groups with their mahi for the benefit of everyone in the Whangārei District. These can include:

- programmes
- equipment purchases
- minor operating costs
- facility development and maintenance.

This fund is open for applications at any time. For the 2026-27 financial year, applications will be considered every two months.
